Birds on the Missouri in Montana
The birds on this page have been observed either from the deck of River’s Bend Lodge or while floating on the Missouri River from Holter Dam to Cascade, MT. when quite young the ducklings will ride on their mothers back. The Merganser is exciting to watch as they swim in bursts white water and a flurry of wings and feet.
